One of my fav. drivers, Mr. Tarso Marques was a whole 7 tenths of a second outside 107% of Michael Schumacher's fastest time in Saturday mornings first free-practise. 7 10ths is a lot to make up and we saw at Melbourne that Tarso was outside 107% most of the weekend and nothing changed for Qualifying. Could this be repeated???
Even young star Fernando Alonso was slow - only 2 10ths inside the 107% limit. If the others improve a little and Minardi stay the same, could we see only 20 drivers starting the 2001 Spanish GP?? It would be a shame, lets just hope that Minardi does it and if Fernando drives well, he will be aiming for a second/third to last grid row which would be excellent for him as Minardi just don't have the power for that long straight. Finally, I'd like to say hi to all the Badoer fans out there!!!!!!!! Visit: http://www.maxpages.com/lucabadoer LucaBadoer |

i think it can happen. with TC in, we can see the top teams at the limit. that means the last 2 teams will miss out on 107% quite often.
