Can someone give me some info about the Elf/La Filiere program? I will be competing for an invitation through Bridgestone FF-2000 in Canada. I know all the basics from a couple sites (Elfdrive.com and fastrack), just trying to find some inside information. Thanks!

I know a few guys who did it. I'll call them and get more info. Here's what I recall them telling me:
Do your thing, don't let the Euro drivers get to you with head games. Like jumping in the car you were obviously going to go into...stupid sh*t like that. Oh ya, don't crash, don't over-rev and don't spin....Be cool to the instructors but DON'T KISS A$$! I think the average of 5 laps in a row (you get 10 laps) is the time they take, not your fastest lap. So, if you must go balls out, do it on lap 2 or your last lap, so a spin doesn't completely screw you up.... Bridgestone 2000? Charlie Goodman, right? Cool guy. |
