As this was the first race of the championship, overall results only will be posted.

For immediate release:

Roots V8 Racing celebrated its LasVegas victory last night by blowing an enormous raspberry at its collective opposition. Jeff Gordon, who suffered from a blow out late in the race hopes his new sponsor, Durex will solve his rubber troubles. The next race will see the #24 Chevrolet adorned with the condom firms new slogan ‘Durex, because you don’t know where she’s been!’

The team were helped late in the race by a debris caution after Tony Stewart dropped his sandwich on the back stretch. Tony apologised saying it was a complete accident and that there is no way he would purposely throw a sandwich out of the window.
NASCAR are not issuing a penalty.
