Tommy Rustad
Duz ne 1 know what happened 2 him he was streets ahead in 1998 independents cup, personally i think he should have got a factory drive with Renault, but where did he go?

I think he raced in Sweden for a while, but last year drove a Nissan Primera in the Production category of the ETCC- as far as I know, he'll be doing ETCC again this year, again in a Nissan.
Rustad's a good driver- he took an unusual career path to touring cars- he actually started out in rallycross (very quick and very spectacular-I remember seeing him throwing a big 2.7 litre Volvo 240 around the Brands Hatch rallycross circuit about 1990...) then moved into single seaters, the European Renault Spider series and finally the BTCC |

1999 Swedish Champion and raced in the ESPC in 2001.
