Toni Ruokonen
What is he going to do in 2002, or is he another immense talent to be left to rott.
What are Team CAM doing in 2002 as well as they said they were sure of returning in 2002, as they weren't enetering the rest of 2001 so that they could work on the car and make it competitive when they quit, but there is no sign of them. |

Interesting question and one which I'd also like to know the answer to.

He should be in a top touring class drive theres no doubt about the mans speed and talent. I've seen that man sweep from the back of the pack after 3 laps to victory by a mile. He beat a few current BTCC drivers when he did that. Everytime I saw him he impressed me, and certainly entertained me.

Yeah Reido, I was wondering what has happened to team CAM. its odd that there's been nothing said at all. Maybe they just think the cost of production is just too high. Any ideas folks???

I think it was more to do with struggling with an 1800cc car against the 2000cc cars. No chance really. The Dutch rules are slighty different and allowed them to be more competitive. |

Yes, It would be nice to know what Toni and Team CAM are up to this year? The team were great and very friendly last year - something you don't see very often.

The CAM Mitsubishis were recently on sale in Autosport along with the teams trailer.
It seems unlikely that they will be racing them this year |

Hopefully they have some other cars, they wre certainly a very friendly team, I just sorry I got an egg: sport hat instead of a CAM one at Oulton, the CAM ones were far superior, but I can wear my egg one this year too.
King_Rico I went up to a rather glum Toni after a race, and when I asked him for an autograph it seemed to have made his day. |

Toni and his family are very good friends of Paul Ridgeway at GR. (He ran him in 1999). Maybe, if he can find some money he could rival Simon Harrison for the Alfa drive.
