Wondering that RAR doesn´t race their Aston.

Konrad is back, hopefully with his brand new car.

i think there's no point in racing the DBR9 in FIA-GT for them, just a waste of money as their main focus is the LMES

They should have Bouchet-Turner in the DBR-9 and Vasiliev-Fomenko in the 550 . Anyone seen any pics of the modified Konrad car yet ?

Should be a very interesting race, if the Saleen is competitve once more. the #5 Konrad car certainly has a great driving line up. IMO.

No entry listed for Piccini and Deletraz. Money? Unlikely with our Swiss friend. "Bored" with racing again, as with his departure from Lister mid-season 2003?

Gounon is special. His climb from the back of the grid at Donington 2003 (with Konrad) was fantastic

Nice line-up, very curious how Konrad will do. If they managed to overcome their problems or not.

No, not yet, but don´t expect something very new. It will have only new diffusor, new splitter and some modifications on the back spoiler, I guess the optic will not change in a dramatic way.

Will be interesting to see how the 'new' Saleen and the Lambo will go. The Lambo qualied very well at Brno after all.

However it's a twisty circuit so which cars will the layout favour the most?

Valencia was very twisty and we all know how the Lambo did there. Last year on Oschers however the DAMS cars weren't performing too well.

#2 Piccini/Deletraz car is added to the list as well. At least I saw it on the DSC list.

I think the Corvette will be very competitive. The circut is short and very twisty, therefore it should suit the Corvette torque.

Bernard Bram has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
So who is going? It's a great circuit for spectating and the sound of the Lamborghini is just great. Not to mention the WTCC action.

Kumpen and Longin have a busy weekend because they (together with Duez and Hillebrand) will do also a 24h race with their Viper at Zolder. The car is totally rebuild after the heavy crash earlier this year.

Schedule:
Wednesday - practice at Zolder
Thursday - qualifying at Zolder, after that they drive to Germany.
Friday - practice at Oschersleben
Saterday 10:00h - qualifying Oschersleben
Saturday 10:45h - with plane back to Zolder and preparing for the race
Sunday 9:30h-11:00h - with plane to Oschersleben, Hezemans will start, Longin and Kumpen will do other 2 hours. After race back to Zolder were they land around 15:00h-16:00h

BTW The lawyers of GPLK-Carsport are still working on the Spa 24h case.

I am. For business and GT's, those WTCC bumpercars can't bother me at all. "Is there a gap? I'll make a gap! Can't get past him, hell I'll just punt him off". Not quite my idea of racing

Tom V should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The organisers of the "Bumpercar" series were apparantly not happy with the time slot (from 1200-14.00) they were handed during the Spa 24H weekend. They threatened to race at Helsinki during the 24H weekend next year if they don't get a better time slot. Don't know what would be a better time slot. Maybe they can interrupt the 24H for a few hours so that the boys can race during prime time...

Personally I don't care, they can move the whole circus to Helsinki next year. I only regard WTCC as a support series to FIA GT, not the other way around.

maybe, but Kumpen & Longin will also be racing in Zolder, for the 24 hour race. I hope it doesn't effect them to much

Russian Age drivers Fomenko and Bouchout are testing respectively for the Russian and French A1GP team today and tomorrow. Are these two "veterans" switching to a single seater career?

I would've thought that Vasiliev would be a better candidate for the A1GP drive, but I'm assuming that once again budget overrides talent in this case. I'd be glad for Lamy and Bouchut both if they ca nfind employ in that series, as long as we still get to appreciate them in sportscars.
