I've only been reading this forum for a few weeks, and I can say that the sensible threads are very interesting and if you fancy having a laugh, either support Crystal Palace or read some of the other threads. It is a bit annoying when a serious thread gets hi-jacked by a couple of smarties and their one-liners...
One of the reasons we go marshalling is to feel like we are in a group of like-minded people, coming from all over the world and from vastly differing backgrounds. The forum is a good way to feel part of something while still staying dry and keeping your Viagra pen safe! So there! Typical observer, ranting for hours and sitting on the fence! (Ow!) |

In which case, as one of the 'smarties' I wish you adieu!

can't tell if you've got a straight face there Stoowert, but this is probably the first serious thread to get derailed, but then again, it did'nt actually relate to marshalling matters either, but was one members view of things.
You really don't have to read the silly stuff, anyways Gonfra and I have decided to play Dingle Dell in opposition to those silly people playing something called Mornington Crescent over in the gravel trap Seems that most of us that have expressed an opinion like a bit of sillyness in the appropriate place. |

J'know, I don't think I could have got through some days marshalling without a bit of silly-ness! I think I overstated my dislike of the one-liner-in-joke!
I'll see your Dingle Dell and up a Deer's Leap! Therre goes another rib! It's 3.30, raining, getting dark. It must be a Friday before a BRSCC weekend! |

That's the trouble with the yoof of today, too much discipline! In my day we would have loved to...hang on a bit! Who said I'd got a sense of humour? A filthy slurr! Did Douglas Adams die in vain?
