If you read through the description on the youtube video promax listed,
the results are near the end.
It seems he beat them all.

Really?? so they've built one then. Will it have proper running gear in it this time or will it be the old donk and gearbox as we've seen in FG01?

Kayne in John Rae Transam and could Clark be in the New NZ V8 going by his times? Just stick it on the MPL, MSC, MSNZ tab boys, rest of the licencse holders will pay, no drama.

Huge difference in the specifications of the cars so not a surprise, last time I saw the RX3 it a modified road car, don't think it has changed.

Do they have the 105% rule? I think that on this track it would be required more than on most due to the blindness of the corners and the lack of good passing spot.

Far from standard

my point exactly the cars in the same field are poles apart, there is a mixture of GT1/2 & GTNZ cars in the same field in my opinion not the safest

Checked out the "new next gen V8's" yesterday during practice sessions, and was dissapointed to find that FG01 is STILL running the old gear and clearly has had no further development. The VE car on the other hand just looked like it had left a wreckers yard....very poorly put together piece of s**t. However it did have a new engine in place and the TT g/box was also in place but with no interior at all to speak of.

These cars look cheaply made and in no way bare any resemblence to the ST.

Which got me thinking, if MSNZ (who are running the booth where the two cars are) think that this new car will be just as good as the new ST class are simply dreaming. And i have concerns about driver safety too. The gauge of the tube used is the cage is tiny, the welds look terrible and it looks like it was made in Hamilton, out of number 8 fencing wire. If these new cars can go fast and all that stuff, what will happen if one is involved in a heavy crash? I dont think they would stand up well at all.

On the plus side however i liked the livery of the FG, and the wheels and brakes look nice.

But thats it.

I presume you're going to tell us next that you're not related to Promax or Ugy, it's you just that wear the same coloured hat.

Stay loyal and focused NZSTfan, at least we have cars that are real and running, we also have a series that is being hotly followed by many true motor racing fans around the country.
We don't have to live in hope that our dreams might come true, or live in fear that it may never eventuate.
