Exactly right William. To suggest that Clipsal started as nothing is similar is to saying that v8's didnt exist prior to 97. (and there is only one group saying that)
On topic, a permanent circuit in Northern Queensland would drive interest in club level motorsport. The v8s plus say Nationals and Superbikes (as I cant personally see them having to much of a problem travelling to Northern Qld) could really swell motorsport growth in the region. Alot more than a single street race. |
