something Ive been thinking of that came out of KC's USF3 post is all the different classes of racing and where they stand in the great scheme of things
Europe usually goes F Ford , F3 , F3000 and on to F1 but this year I am lucky enough to be seeing the barber dodge series , Toyota atlantics and indy lites series and now USF3 is on the way...but what level are these cars at....

I am interested in the ladder a driver has to climb and where things sit in order..this is how I see it at present ..it may not be right as I dont have experience with the US series but possibly

1. F Ford (obviously)
2. F Ford 2000
3. F3 ????
4. Barber dodge
5. Atlantics
6. Indy lites.
7. IRL or champ cars

this may be wrong but then you throw in the euorpean series as well and get

1. F Ford
2. F Ford 2000
3. Formula Opel or renault
4. F3
5. Barber dodge
6. F Palmer
7. atlantics
8. Indy lites and F3000 reasonably equal
9. IRL
10. champcars
11. F1

does this seem like a viable order to place them in ???

there's probably more classes that could be added in there but that seems pretty straight forward to me but if you have other ideas then let us know !!

KC should be qualifying in the top 5 on the gridKC should be qualifying in the top 5 on the grid
I think that Formula Palmer and the Barber Dodge Series probably are similar in talent and equipment. Its hard to say because I have not seen many of the European series in action barring the odd F3 race.

How about throwing in Euro Telefonica Nissan aswell then a driver should be able to go FFord(2years) F3(1yr) Nissan(1yr) F3000(2yr) F1(rest of life)

That is the way I would go.

This side of the world 1: Karts
2: F Ford
3: Formula Holden
Then if you dont have the money or talent to go to Europe or the states for F3 or Indy lites you're screwed, and end up in tintops.
