Closing date for entries is 19 April, so hopefully all will be revealed soon. Hoping for many Brits.

Incidentally, having just looked at the entry form on the Montalegre website, entry is only 100E; that seems very very cheap!

All entries for all ERC events are 100Euros this is an FIA requirement.

Much cheaper than most national championships!

Well, that's why I thought it was cheap, as BTRDA is about £180/200E isn't it? Seems odd, but must encourage more people (and presumably they can afford to reduce entry fees due to 15,000 spectators, more competitors, more sponsors, media coverage etc).

Can't wait for this season to start!

In this country the clubs have to have higher entries to cover circuit hire fees as the clubs have to rent the circuits, in Europe the circuits gain their income from spectators not from the entrants!!!!!

I think you will find that the entry being so cheap makes absolutely no difference to the number of entries, running a car in the ERC is very expensive I dont think any competitors would notice if the entry fees were 100 euros more.

Agree with the first point (was the point i was making about having 15,000+ [see France and Holjes for 20,000+] spectators) but not sure I totlaly agree with the second bit. Certainly, there are a core number of competitors, who have so much money and the entry fee is by far the cheapest part of the weekend (I mean, Sverre Issachsen turned up to Belgium with 3 engines, and used all 3!!!), but the slightly cheaper entry fee might just persuade the locals, like say, Andy Grant, who are on considerably lower budgets.

In any event, cannot be too long til there's an entry list for this...
