Nice idea, have good fantasy fun with it.

Please spare us Champ Car Course Observers a thought when designing though.
Remember for real we have to be able to identify each and every car travelling at near 200 mph from any angle ( except underneath we hope) in a fraction of a second. Livery needs to be striking but distinctly unique.

Couldn't decide on 1 livery so I went for 4 for my new team-Merlin Racing! As you can see I messed about with the chassis a bit as well, producing 2 different ones, 1 for ovals & 1 for road tracks.
So here they are!
Car #1-Vodafone (Helio Castroneves)

Car #2-Hugo Boss (Darren Manning)

Car #3-Sonax (Oriol Servia)

& Car #4-Palfinger (Dan Clarke)

Hopefully these will inject a bit of life into this thread!

Ok guys... By Febuary 15 all designs need to be in and submitted. Then Polls will be opened in the Fantasy Games forum.

So here are some rules:

1. All liveries must be acceptable for a family forum.
2. Each person may submit 2 Liveries but must choose one to be used for voting.
3. Don't make fun of other Liveries.
4. Each car must use the number in which they finished in the standings for The Fantasy Racing Teams. (Example: If you finished 2nd you get to use number 2, if you finished 15th you must use 15.) If you did not compete in the fantasy racing league last year you may use any number 21 and above with the exception of 99. Yo may also choose not to have a number on your race car.
5. Depending on how many people we have will determine how we choose the winner. But my idea would be start a poll with 2 cars, and for example have 8 polls going. The winner from each poll moves on to the next round.

If anyone else has any ideas let me know.

That last one is very striking! (Palfinger)

I didn't compete last year, but I do have a design I'm working on, and it will be up in a few days...

OK the car has been redone with a new associate sponser. Oriol Servia is Revealing out car but he has not been confirmed as our driver. Therefore his name is not on the car.

Special thanks goes towards my buddy Goobers over at another forum.

Yep.

Or align the deadline with the fantasy games? Teams could present their cars and drivers with major press releases...

Hmmmm curious Idea you have.

I like it, any clue who is running the game this year? Omega did an outstanding job and we brought up some new Ideas... So we should start getting a basic frame of rules set up so we can tweak them before the season starts. So lets see what we come up with.

And I'll be running a revamped Predictions contest.

Thank you very much! I just thought that the Martini stripes hadn't been seen often enough recently in motorsport & they do make for a good livery so I thought I would use them!
