Brock Wins at Surfers
Yep Peter Brock took out his first race victory in the Donut King Nations Cup Championship. Brock won race 1 in his Just Car Insurance Holden Monaro

With that win plus the clean sweep at Albert Park in March Brock must wish that the championship was held on street circuits.

Does anyone know if Channel 10 will show the Procars? I'd be surprised if they did cause Ch:7 show the series normally, doesn't anyone know??

Oh you are so funny! If you take a look at the schedules for all races, isn't it convenient that GT Performance, Nations Cup, Carrera Cup and V8 BRutes are all scheduled outside the live Ch 10 telecast hours..
Sat - Nations Cup is due to start at 1710 - 10 mins after Ch 10 finishes for the day and nothing is even remotely near a telecast time on Sunday... |

Even if they were running within telecast times channel ten would still interview all the celebrities at the race rather than show racing.

LIek I said - look at the schedules - forget the Ch 7 link for the moment - doesn't it strike you as odd that NO Procar category is scheduled at a time when it could have been shown anyway?

maybe this was the solution to ten/TC not allowing procar to bring in their film crews? or were the race times the same all along...??

AFAIK there has been no change to them at all.
Keep in mind how involved/how twisted arms are at this event. |

YAY Denyer!! he won the first Brutes race yesterday, saw him on SUnrise this morning...
Channel 10's telecast really misses him... Oh well, means I get to watch him every morning! :P |

Even back in 2001 when Channel 10 were showing Procar, they didn't show the races at Indy during the live broadcast.

On Natsoft they have the third NC race has having been cancelled, does anyone know why?

If you check out the previous race (V8 BRutes) you will see they came under safety car on lap 2, did lap 3 behind safety car and then the race was canned.
With only a 15 min scheduled break between the two races, maybe too much carnage from the BRutes?? |
