The Pramac-Aprilia outfit... is that a factory effort or a team more or less like D'Antin?

No one knows what Aprillia are planning yet, do they? It really could be anything, and Shaky and McWilliams are far from 'probable' as they may chosoe competitive WSBK rides above another season of midfield anonymity, and who could blame them?

Poggiali - After last season on the factory Aprilia, I wouldn't be surprised if he was: a) given the boot and b) no-one else was prepared to sign him. Considering he is still young, and Gilera obviously hold him in high regard, it makes sense to step back and regain confidence.

As for Aprilia, who knows what on earth is going on there. They are in terrible debt, and I'd say their chances of being on the grid are improbable...

EGG has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I heard the other day Aprilia had already pulled out

Hopefully the KTM engine will go as good for Team KR as the times so far have shown.

Yup. Out of GP. They had a new bike that was 'A second a lap faster' but they didn't have the finance to race it this year. So I guess the highlight for the Cube will be Colin's 5th place on debut...

...okay i'm a Edwards fan, so what?

WCM have signed Franco Battaini to join James Ellison for 2005. While not a great line-up, it's arguably their best yet.

Well, the best since they had a Yamaha factory support.

good for franco - never had a factory aprilia in 250cc and ran consistently around the top 10 mark . good luck to him at having a crack in moto gp

Usually I groan at necroposts, but I think the 6-7 year prophecy there balances this one out.
