Speedway Bike

I have never raced a speedway bike before am interested in learning. Have you raced one if so.
Where did you learn?
How much do the bikes cost to buy/run/maintain?
Does anyone do something like red letter days for speedway?

pardon the ignorance but I really do know sod all about it.

I know that Weymouth & Swindon have done training days in the past. Do you have a local track where you can ask someone?

You occasionaly see bikes on ebay, although obviously you need to be careful not to end up with a pile of junk!

This is the place to look, you may see some adverts for equipment & training days etc (training / practice forum):

I think if you're serious about speedway or any other form of motorsport then you'll find that about as value for money as you're going to get

team cam , not far to iwade/sittingbourne from grays, you could almost swim there,on a clear day you could see the track, perhaps if you stood on the roof of your house, give it a whirl, good motorsport.
