TOTALLY AGREE!! Keke was really really good, damn fast in every condition, and a clever runner. I rarely saw him to overdrive his car or make any mistake. Too bad that in the mid 80s his performances have been conditioned by a Honda Turbocharged engine that really had a poor reliability. He could have achieved a LOT more in his career. Surely one of my favourites, just after Ayrton. |

I saw Keke driving the wheels off a Formula Atlantic in '77 and '78,and he had a moustache in those days too.

What about JYS? That felt hat, and those sideburns in '71 are surely worthy of mention.
If the film of the Monaco Gp that weekend there is another driver (I think Peterson- not sure) who has gorgeous blonde frizzy sideburns- surely a thing of beauty. And of course, Le mans winning Pescarolo (sp?) with the beard |

Not a great driver perhaps but Howden Ganley's sideburns rivalled Emmo's.

Yeah, and Rene Weisell, too.
Stirling Moss sometimes had a beard but I can't remember if he ever raced with one. |

I'm sure if he had, he'd have beaten it.
