is Britcar a saloon series or both that and a GT series? they are, afterall, expanding to allow more GT cars in there...

I think technically the place for this thread should be National and Club racing (and indeed the same question was asked not so long ago).

It is effectively an open series that allows Tourers and GT's to race in (i think)classes dependant on engine size

I had a pm from Ian Snowman : the thread could fit more in National & Club Racing.

The problem is that I can't move it anymore, it's now property of WTCC & ETCS...

I'm sure the Mods know what to do... and sorry again that my knowledge of TCC and National Racing is clearly too weak here

To answer your question newbob Britcar is now split in 2.Production S1 And Britcar.Prod S1 is for cars of 3.5 and below devided into classes dependent on engine size, power and perfromance in the races.Britcar used to be capped at 5.5l but has now been opened up to allow for bigger engines. It to is split into classes the same as Prod S1 but also will have an open class for full GT Cup spec cars Similar to what was run during the open races at the end of last year.
The only exception to this will be the 24 hour as both will race in the event to provide the numbers. And the first couple of event could be combined if there are insuficent entires to split them.
Being that the BMW GTR is Peter Seldons it should run at nearly all the meeting.
