I saw them a few years ago a fews back at Eastern Creek and it was so much better. The corporate tents were packed and they seemed to be really enjoying the show, although it was hard to tell as they spent most of it with their backs to the stage area.

Still it was a great event as they had a room set up with shiny things which kept us distracted and after the concert they put on a short motor race for the fans. It didn't really mesh with the usual Fleetwood Mac fans but it seemed to help justify the extra we had to pay for the ticket and the Government funding that was required (again my taxes at play grrrrr). It brought in some extra people I guess but they all showed up after the concert and I have not heard back from any of them on the Mac forums.

It must have been a hit as they came back and did it again the next year although the crowd seemed a lot smaller.

I am just happy to see Sydney has a strong live concert scene again after so many years since the close of the smaller better venues.

Glad to hear no one was hurt when the tailgate on the GRM truck holding Walls Volvo malfunctioned. Could've ended very badly indeed.

Yeah I thought so - along with more around the back of the track near the athletics centre.

To how far the event has reduced its capacity for fans in 6 years is a little bit confronting

In the Volvo, what's that green lever next to the gear lever? He's adjusting it back and forth around the lap, seems like corner to corner - forward for one corner, back for next 2 corners, forward again for next corner.

I don't think it's the sway bar adjuster because it looks to move too easily, and doesn't appear to have lock-in click points. Also, there's only 1 of these short fat green levers.

Suprised my son with a trip to practise yesterday, first ever time to the event. Facilites are of course excellent, viewing is not as bad as expected but would not of wanted to be there on any hotter days. My son loved it of course. Also turns out you can get some half decent photos as long as their is no direct sun and you stand in the right spots. As an exhibition of V8 Supercars, it is great but I couldn't see myself enjoying it as much if I was trying to watch a race closely.

Frosty on pole in the first race and CL starting from the back which means that if Frosty wins, CL has to make up about 10 spots or its goodnight nurse.
