KPAX Racing with Flying Lizard is back with at least two cars!
The build on a third car has been completed, so there's a potential for a custumer car as well!

That makes good sense, but extremely curious as to who they'll look to to replace him. Are there any rumours on that front? Guessing there's a good chance of it being someone with existing links to GM (Liddell maybe?), but wonder if they feel they have to take the talent up a notch to compete with the young guns and the thoroughbred GT drivers (and the Mike Hedlunds, obviously) that have shown up in the last few years.

Will be a great seat for someone.

Aschenbach would be my guess too. He's been racing GM cars for a while, and has plenty of PWC experience.

Regarding one of the other major driver vacancies, this was inside a Sportscar365 article:

2015 Pirelli World Challenge standout Ryan Dalziel was notified he wouldn’t return to EFFORT Racing; Spencer Pumpelly only recently found out he also wasn’t retained at Park Place Motorsports, despite winning twice in IMSA and five times elsewhere in 2015.
Both of their replacements are believed to be Porsche factory drivers.

Adds further weight to the rumor that EFFORT's #31 Porsche will be driven by a factory pilot.

Not real unusual in racing, like Mike said, Marcus Hasselgrove came from Audi, IMSA's Simon Hodgson previously worked for Wayne Taylor, and newly announced SCCA Pro President Derrick Walker ran Ed Carpenters Indycar team before he worked for Indycar themselves.
