Mallorypark 750 meeting
Visited Roger Rowe in Leicester Royal Infirmary on Friday. He is suffering from two broken legs ,Right leg broken ankle ,Left leg just below the knee.
Roger asked me to pass on his thanks to all the people getting him out of the car and delivering him to LRI. He is in good spirits and waiting for his operation on the ankle on Monday. |

Broken legs are not a minor injury but I'm glad he's OK. It's not nice when a race meeting goes quiet like that. Understandably, his wife was in tears in the paddock. It was good to see Viv give her a lift to the ambulance so she could see he was OK. Thanks to the great efforts of the marshals and organisers the meeting ended up getting through the programme after the early delays and quite a lot of accidents.
