Motec Data

Hi Guys,

Im a budding motorsport enthusiast and student looking to break into the sport one day as a career. Ive just finished a Data Acquisition course and Ive been playing about with i2 Pro by Motec but Ive only been able to use the free data file that comes with it.

I was wondering if anybody would be willing to give me a Motec file from a race or test session you have done in the past, just so I can have some new data to analyse and look at.

(I can assure I am not affiliated with any race team and it would be purely for my own personal learning purposes)

I suggest you to install rFactor and the Motec data aq plugin.

You can log your own driving with virtually any kind of car (mod) and learn a lot about the software, the sensors and such. There are some tutorials on the net for all that.

Yup, good idea that - FYI, GTR and GTR2 also have plugins to MOTEC i2, and spit out huge amounts of data, and there are tons of resources on the web for interpreting data from the GTR games in i2 that might come in handy.
