While it's been hard to find any leaks - speculation is strong that Bentley's well into cooking up its new Conti to the latest regs - apparently its out testing.
Doubt it made FIA homologation testing Ladoux - only the new build Nissan would have been there. Brian Gush was quoted as saying they'd be happy to develop/race it for a season (in Blancpain) before selling it to customers - ala Audi's latest R8 and the Huracan GT3. Funny thing is no-one has heard a peep about McLaren putting in work for a new GT3 off the 720S - despite that car being released months before the fat Bentley. |

I was under the impression it was a factory supported effort. Surely AF Corse can field another PRO car under their banner?

A shame really. The Merc is a pretty car, but now there's far too many compared to other makes.
From the team' point of view, it's a understandable as they were really struggling with the 650S, while the Merc is probably one of the best (if not the best) GT3 machine at the moment. |

I believe Zakspeed and AMG have parted ways, so it potentially leaves a gap for Strakka.
