I guess it shows our age, coming into racing when he was in the twilight of his career, but I don't think there were many as good or as knowledgeable as Economaki in all genres of motorsports. It always struck me odd that this funny talking man from Brooklyn was covering NASCAR but he did it so well. I've missed him in the broadcasts for years, but hope he is wearing a gold sports jacket, beating the paths up and down the garage wherever he may be.
