So, I'll believe in Lada-WTCC only when I see it my own eyes

New photos regarding the car. The fenders are agressive as all hell.

Lada 110's are 1.69m wide, max is 1.8. I think those fenders will require some shaving down. Unless the overall width of the road car is including the mirrors.

I feel sure they have measured those wheelarches, they do make the 110 stand out

110 project was started in 1986,in Soviet Union, but was finally realized in 1995. No suprise it's looking as a time-machine.
If the base-car is 21106(that car had 2.0l Opel engine),then it has longer wheel base, than usual 110. I won't be surprised if 21106 was hand-made for special orders. It's not a REAL car (as championship's slogan say).

21106 was a special model from external tuner but it's still homologated in gr. N and A... If you say it's not a real car, neither is 320si.

This project is kind of weird because this car isn't in production anymore. How ever, they can't use newer Priora model because a) it doesn't have FIA homologation b) there's no 2-litre model (at least I haven't heard about one).

ps. I think AvtoVAZ should build a homologation special of 2105/2107 (Lada Riva in UK) with a 2000cc engine. At least it would be based on current production model and RWD should be an advantage
