Ticket pricing may be the nail in the coffin for the event methinks.
ARDC are promoting.

AS suggested, this will be a toe in the water exercise with each party assessing after the event with an announcement on a yay or nay for 2013 shortly after I would expect.

Given OP used to always get the turnout as it was far superior spectator wise to EC, does that mean EC will now get the spectator turnout as it is far better spectator wise than Homebush? It would have my $$

IIRC FFord had their final round at Surfers until the Winton move. A switch to EC would ensure they still have their big finale at Surfers rather than Winton. Any others in a similar position?

Supports? Radicals could get a great field with Radical HQ based at EC. Aussie Racing Cars? Formula 3?

Well I am surprised this all happened.

Hopefully people will attend and have a great time, instead of all the usual whinging and mewing about this or that Sydneysiders have made themselves world famous for.

I'd like to see this pay off for the Club and for the new upgrades.

In regards for the supports, hopefully what they would do is open up the door to some other series that might not get a shot at the usual V8 Supercars supports, due to Dunlop, Utes, CC and others hogging the spotlight.

Formula Ford will swap its round from the August round to November at Winton. The season finale was down for Bathurst, so it's a win-win for a variety of reasons.

Always loved the racing at EC, and its a fun track to drive.

I know its a reality of our sport but I'm always sad when politics intervenes in motorsport.

Eastern Creek, some great memories.

Helmet swinging yahoos, lots of finger pointing and track rage.

And that's only one race.

Maybe it will be like some F1 events overseas, the V8Supercars are the only ontrack event for the weekend
Improved Production will be one of the support categories. Anyone want to sponsor a mid field running rx7 for the entry fee
