Is USF1 still attempting to reapply for next season or have they gone as quiet as they have appeared to have gone?

I haven't heard a peep about or from them them since they requested a 1 year postponement and were told that they would have to reapply.

It depends what you mean, according to Wikipedia and SPEED Ken Anderson has launched a solo bid based on some aspects of USF1, without Peter Windsor. Wikipedia also says that the Cypher Group are also based out of some bits of USF1 - to be honest, ART and Epsilon Euskadi seem the most serious to me, although we don't know who all the bidders are. If someone like iSport or Penske put a bid in they would be up there with ART or EE.

^ART is rumoured to possibly be teaming up with Sauber. I would think the Mullins bid to be the most likely (although ultimately unsuccessful IMO) American bid. EE surely must be in the driver seat (no pun intended) to get the nod assuming finances are in order.

Based on what you just said above I would have to say that the USF1 who was approved for 2010 in F1 has gone poke`em with a stick quiet.
