I imagine they'd most likely chuck the Swindon engine in there, similar to Eurotech.

If the boost calculations were so unfair, he wouldn't have had a title to defend anyway, although that's probably a conversation for another time.

Broken up probably. The shells are battered and the car is no longer relevant, although it could be argued that the civic is either. Engines and control parts will probably be used in the new cars and Dynamics will keep theirs for the new build civic.

Interesting to note the article said about changing bodyshells. So perhaps the Chevy NGTC parts are being swapped to the Honda.

Another interesting quote in this article: "Taylor was tight-lipped when asked about the team’s 2018 driver line-up, but added that the team were “in the middle of a big sponsorship deal that will determine the driver line-up for the season” and that sponsorship did not have an influence on the decision to go with Honda for 2018.

a. New empty shells
b. Brand new complete cars
c. Last years Team Dynamics cars (assume not??)

I'd assume it was last years Dynamics cars. Then new builds for Dynamics.

They might even have deep enough pockets for two new-build FK8's (albeit just the shells and using the Chevy carry-overs to complete the build).

Maybe I'm reading more into this than I should but buying a pair of old cars/shells is hardly a Unique opportunity compared to securing the chance to be running the same cars as the 'works' team.

Though I can't see Plato in a Honda, a Swindon powered Civic wouldn't be a bad call for the championship. Lloyd was quick (albeit with no championship weight) and Goff seemed to qualify well with that package.

I know we all expected another stale year, but the way the musical chairs are starting to play out we could be in for a good one!

So yet another couple of Hondas on the grid. I wonder who will drive them and I wonder if it means Team Dynamics will run just two cars this season. Anyway it's a good move for BTC, might see them further up the grid now.

I'd have thought so - last year there were the 2 Dynamics cars and they also ran Simpsons car (but that was Simpsons own car rather than a Dynamics car - minor distinction but there you go). So I'd have thought Dynamics only have 2 TBLs anyway.
