Snetterton Rounds 16/17/18

After the seemingly endless summer break, we're back, in Norfolk for BTCC. A fairly quiet (by BTCC standards) month saw little happen, apart from the Dunlop Tyre Test, Robb Holland back with Team HARD in the ex-James Cole Insignia, James Kaye and AMD switching to an S2000/NGTC Civic, and Rob Austin being mauled by a shark.

Will MG dominate as they did at the test? Will we see sun or monsoon conditions? Will Warren Scott be in a SEAT Leon or a VW Passat? Can anyone get that flat cap off of David Nye's head? Find out this weekend....

I could swear that AmD had plans to enter an NGTC Astra at some point... ...anyone know any more of that?

I reckon they'll wait for winter. They've got probably the best S2000 chassis, but that doesn't mean Kaye will get the results...

...meanwhile, MG take a 1-2 in FP2, and they're not even working properly! I really want Tordoff to take pole and prove he has the pace to match and even beat Plato... ...next season he's a title challenger in my eyes...

Boost has not been an issue this year. I imagine MG will get a decrease and Honda will remain the same or get an increase. Swings and roundabouts really.

Shaun's been pretty open about the fact that they haven't got the money for it. He said as much on Facebook earlier in the week.

well congrats to Sam Tordoff for his first pole , let's hope he goes for the WIN and doesn't move over for Plato

Neate at the back while Lea Wood seems to fend of Kaye

The team dynamics'(no pun intended) could sure be interesting if he can manage to match or even beat Plato on regular basis...

The races tomorrow should be good, Snetterton always seems to provide some decent racing!

Warren Scott's CC is a lovely looking beastie, that VW looks immense in NGTC clothes! My only slight worry is the fact its another black-on-chrome car... two such cars have made their 'on track' debut this weekend! still, looks pretty smart. fair play on team HARD for getting that sled put together in time!
