It's not going to happen, GM politics to blame for that. Might as well not bother entertaining that thought as it's virtually impossible. |

I'm of the opinion that GT cars should be doing rolling starts. I don't think either is safer or more dangerous - both have positives and negatives.

If someone purchased a Callaway GT3 and wanted to run it in world challenge, I don't think GM would need to be involved. |

It could have severe consequences for Callaway though when GM will no longer approve their GT3 project and stops part deliveries for instance. And not to mention denying a possible future C7 successor project, basically killing Callaway's future racing business...
I'm also not expecting to see the other Camaro in GT, contrary to the current rumors/expectations, GM's influence with the series is too big and PWC will not risk a dispute with one of their biggest (the biggest?) sponsors. Maybe it'll all change when Ford decides to make a GT3 version of it's new GT and bring it to PWC in the near future! Anyways, more than a privateer Corvette GT3, right now the series could do with a Pro Viper. |

Global World Challenge with endurance events? That would really make the series take off. I really hope that is the announcement.

I'd love a world final at Potrero de los Funes...

probably an end-of-season-finale in the US in 2016 (to replace Baku as they'll be busy with Bernie's circus by that time) or a 2 leg finale US-Europe.
And maybe World challenge contenders could score points towards a Blancpain Global GT series 'championship'. |

But I understand what you mean. To risky for Callaway to sell to US customer. |

So a double header weekend at Cota, with Blancpain GT and PWC. Sounds awesome! I'm a bit confused by the round in Italy in 2016. Will PWC compete as its own series, or will PWC teams race alongside the Blancpain cars? Exciting times for GT racing fans! |

When talking about Blancpain GT visiting CotA next year in March, Bove clearly mentions the words "in a endurance format" - is he hinting at BES @ CotA? Interesting! |

I'm excited to see how this partnership really works out after all the details are in place. Will have some answers soon and I'll post it for you guys to read.

IF the endurance boys are coming over I'd expect a limited grid (30 cars or so for instance), the race could be an invitation, non-point scoring one therefor. Another option would be dropping one score from 6 races (which will still favor those who'll make the trip however). Anyway, your suggestion still makes the most sense; a regular sprint format race seems most likely at this point, resulting in an expected 20-25 cars grid.
