Looks interesting John, take it it doesn't conflict with any MGCC event?

Very interesting idea, might be having some time off around the 6th September next year (significant birthdays and all), so will keep an eye on this.
Based in Stratford-Upon-Avon, and also visiting Silverstone, Snetterton, and "hillclimb venues, sprint courses, and the stately homes and parks that played a central role in past British rounds of the World Rally Championship". 800 miles over 4 days, with 4 races and 7 speed tests. Possibly interesting (but whisper it - midweek races at Cadwell, Snett, and S'Stone Historic circuit + AN Other??? Midweek marshalling?). Al. |

Volunterring for all the circuits on Tour Brittania can be done on the HSCC availability form which should appear on Julians website soon (now he is back from his holiday).

Hope that it does not clash with Goodwood, I wonder if the deep thinking ones have worked this out - Balders

not been funny guys but its another race series, which we dont really need. even if it doesnt clash with any other races it could still dilute grids, why do this when the vscc already has races at these circuits?

Only race meeting of the year at this circuit, but not just a race meeting it's an event. There is nothing else like it. |

sounds like fun - can anyone point me at a list of what ran in the Tourist Trophy from 1960 to 1965 inclusive? TIA.

MGDavid I haven't got a full list of entries but I've read that the 60-63 TT races were held at Goodwood for GT cars and were won by Moss, Moss, Ireland & G Hill in Ferrari 250 GT's or GTO's. In 64 & 65, at Goodwood and Oulton, the races were for Sports & GT cars and won by G Hill in a Ferrari 330P and Hulme in a Brabham BT8. I don't expect the latter pair will be on the Tour!
