they have been doing that here for hockey games for a while. gives a chance to local companies to advertise to their regional markets during what used to the exclusive domain of national advertisers.

if done right then i have no problem with it. and if it translates into new streams of revenue for broadcasters then hopefully they can pass that on to us in the form of lower subscription fees.

One thing is to put white banners at a track / stadium and replace them with a logo. Or put fixed banners on the feed. But F1's ads are really fake.
