Cannon GT
I'm trying to find any information about the Cannon GT car which where built in the mid sixties by Mike Cannon who I understand made two cars. I'm advised they had limited circuit racing in the UK, and possibly later some autocross.. and where fitted with Ford 1300 engines, but that about it...!

I often used to go up to Crooked Chimneys to buy or scrounge bits n pieces off of Mike.
He would build trailers out of whatever he could lay his hands on and he built me a two wheeler that lasted years with its Zephyr Mk 1 hubs ! I always saw the "fiddle brake" cars in various states of build mostly with the 1172 side valve lumps in them , but I will admit I never saw (or can't remember  ) seeing the car in question . But I know a man that will, I shall enquire !
