The races in Colmarberg and Mettet will be interesting, they're club circuits at best. I've never seen races there before, but Scandinavian series show that you can have awesome races at such circuits so I'm definitely not ruling them out!

german superbikes raced at Colmarberg in the 90s, it's too narrow even for bikes. don't think it should host car races.

Well, they've held Fun Cup races there, so it should be okay for cars. Might be a bit processional, though.

As for Mettet - they actually hosted BGDC races in the past, so that shouldn't be as much of a problem.

Here car racing:

It's narrow, but at least there's more room for errors compared to Macau or Marrakech.

Not a surprise from VW Club.

Can we expect something from Pon (Dutch VAG importer)?

TCR Portugal series calendar

Portugal will have a TCR class running as main category inside the Campeonato Nacional de Velocidade. The championship starts late in order to allow all interested parties to get everything in running order. The calendar will have six races, including one in Spain, but there's no tie-up with V-Line's championship.

14/15 May: Braga
11/12 June: Vila Real (WTCC support race)
9/10 July: Portimão
17/18 September: Estoril
5/6 November: Jerez de la Frontera (Spain)
26/27 November: Estoril

What about the International TCR round in Estoril on April 24? Will it not feature TCR Portugal as a support?

TCR is just a class in the Portugese series. Maybe it would be different if it was a standalone TCR championship.

And don't forget ETCC allows also TCR cars.

Hah, I am actually a bit more interested in the TCS undercard class.... So there will be four divisions in TCS, will those be scored together or separately?

12 giugno | Misano

17 luglio | Mugello
25 settembre | Imola
9 ottobre | Adria

BRC Racing Team will run three Leóns. BRC developed the GPL-model León in CITE this year, alongside a Kia Venga (with GPL engine too) italian trophy.

Obviously, TCR regulations don't allow GPL engine cars, but BRC will develop their self-made brake pads on the Leóns.

You know, CITE has always had too much categories inside, so another class running with TCR leaves some doubts at the moment. But in Italy there is always the necessity to be different from the others if you add this to the shortage of cars driving in every single italian national category (apart from the GT class), here we are with the TCS class, with the intention to have a nice entry list (talking about the number of cars).

TCS is not an innovation, because a similar category runs here since some years, with another organization (Peroni Group). ACI finally developed a clear technical regulations (unfortunately, there isn't the english version), dividing TCS class into four categories based on the engine displacement (2.0, 1.8, 1.6, 1.4). At the moment, it's known it will run two Honda Civics by Vaccari Motori (an institution in Italian motorsport) and one Volkswagen Polo GTI. There will also be a balance of performance system, to level the group.

Honestly, I'm a bit perplexed about TCS, but at the same time I want to relive the Supertouring era and TCR, even if using a completely different car concept, seems to be on the right way.
