Robertshaw selling up? Moving on?
Found these adds on racecarsdirect.com, seems like Robertshaw selling up, the Chevvys say available after Brands, no word on the Integra though

I presume they're wanting to buy better, newer cars for 2009. The cars are available after Brands, which is the final round. Just your standard for sale ad really.

The Chevvies are available at the end of the season, but the Integra is available now, does this mean we've seen the last of Alan Taylor?

To be honest, did we see much of him anyway?

It would be dissapointing if they are calling it a day after Brands which is possible as assuming Taylor is now out this leaves on Vaulkard and 2 cars sitting around doing nothing.
Suprised they have not been able to fill Allisons seat as its not a bad drive and capable of a top 3 in the right situation. Seems odd they have stated both Chevys not available till Brands which Indicates they have a driver lined up for the rest of the year. |

Might be putting 2+2 together here and making 7, but:
- The chevy looks as though they'll be full until the end of the season - Alan Taylors' integra is available to rent out/buy Which makes me think that Alan Taylor has found the funds to drive the chevy for the rest of year, meaning his integra is no longer needed. |

If Taylor is stepping in this is does seem like a back step for the team as they need to have an experienced BTCC driver to lead the team, it does seem anyone who comes up with £250k can get a drive regardless to the quality of the CV.
Alison in for Snetterton but could find himself in the Integra at this rate. |

At this stage of the championship I think it's hard to find an experienced driver who also brings his own budget. Any top-driver with a budget should offcourse have a seat already somewhere.

I believe that Robertshaw are getting two new Lacettis for next season.
And unless someone buys the Integra, I'd expect Taylor to stay in it. |

someone said its now only Vaulkhard at Robertshaw, its not, Matt Allison is back for Snetterton and they've apparently got a stand in driver aswell now for the rounds he cant do.

i do wish people would realise that very few teams own the cars they run.
mr V has obviously decided to upgrade or bow out at the end of the year.(the answer lies with Harry's dad) the second car is dependant on someone having the very high(imo) ££££'s to race. having spoken to matt he only has enough left to do one more round(at robertshaw prices) and wants it to be his home one. my very best to Matt. |

So what sort of money are we talking for the Robertshaw drive, I heard Jelley is paying 250K for his so I would expect the Chevy drive to be around the 150 to 200K?

Never trust a story until the money changes hands...ala Team 48.
If there Investing so much they need a top line driver for next year, or risk ending up with a wobbley Jelley..... |

Robertshaw seem to be a very good outfit and it's good to see them committing to next year already, I'm sure if they secure the latest Lacettis they'll be able to attract a quality driver. |

It seems Allison won't be back at Snetterton at all.
