Basically. They're getting long in the tooth now but it helps that they're run directly by Callaway themselves in GT Masters so they've probably had every upgrade available.

There was a pretty comprehensive update in either 2012 or 2013. I read something from a Norwegian team that runs a Vette in the Danish Special Saloon Series and they said, upgrading their car to the most current spec would be 180k €!! (Though I think they would've been more than one update behind for it all to add up to such a sum.)

Part of the update involved switching from the 7.0L LS7 to the 6.2L LS3, and if I remember correctly it was said that it was because they felt the formula to figure out base restrictor size was unfavorable to larger displacement engines.

Are there any Ferraris in the championship this year? I don't recall them having much of a presence in the championship recently.

last time was in 2012 with the team farnbacher that however came back to 997 GT3R during the season. It seems that german teams haven't much luck with ferrari's (vita4one)

Red bull ring coming up. Grasser are running their huracan.
Reiter are running their Rex with enge and a special guest driver.
Should be a fast combo.

Yes I believe you have raced with this guest driver once or twice Scudd

Congrats on the ride Dave, it's good to see him getting some seat time before Spa, should be one strong pairing indeed.

How fitting: two different Lambos and the Red Bull Ring... it can't get closer to a Corrida de Toros, can it?

May the best matadors win!

Car will have 30kg success ballast added. That's a decent number to overcome.

Great result for Dave and I'm sure he's appreciative of what you've done for him Scud.

Indeed it's a significant handicap but I'm sure they'll give it a good crack and get a strong result. Hoping to see Enge back here in Australia one day.

A great performance indeed. You should have seen the smiles in the Reiter pit in Zolder on Saturday

Epic weekend for the Reiter guys at the Redbull Ring, ironically they finished second in the Sunday race to the Grasser Huracan but as a guest entry it scores no points. There's still quite some life in the Gallardo yet! IMHO it looks more menacing on a racetrack then the Huracan that's for sure.

Steve Owen will drive with Dave Russell next weekend in the ADAC round at Spa.

Valuable miles for both lads before the Spa 24hr.
