There has to be serious injuries in that stand. Tires, fencing, suspension. Hope everyone is okay though, including Dario.

Yea from the tv shots his hands were moving but looked like he was leaning and keeping his head back.

Hate the helicopter shots, too familiar.
Crew took forever to get there, nobody stopped to help even though the track was nearly blocked. No word on the crowd, looked like a lot of schizz flying their way. Prayers for DF |

Yeah that was a huge crash, hope the drivers are okay. I saw people in the strands waving their arms and telling safety people to come. Hopefully no/minor injuries to the fans.

At least DF's on board the ambulance, just hope the spectators are ok. Just looking at that accident again some of the fencing went into that stand.

It was evident as soon as they started running this chassis that the "nerfbars" were only good for ugly. The problem was acknowledged, insufficiently addressed, and the resumption of ignorance got the green.
Just hope the fans are OK. |

Local ABC affiliate reporting 13 injured. As of roughly 30 minutes after the race, they are the only local station that appears to have any story on the fan injury. One station did run Jenna Fryer's AP article about the finish. |
