In line with GP2 series regulations, the driver of iSport
International car # 7, Alx Danielsson, has had all his times for the
day deleted after his car was found to be underweight in
scrutineering.
Damn!

I really wanted to see how well he could do (pre lunch session was mostly for him to get used to the car etc)

Yep I know who he is and what he's doing, I was just a little surprised to see his name pop up testing these things!!

In that case I can't improve on bella's comment!

It may just be that he's having a look to see what GP2 is like before switching to the WSR next year.

Yes that's what I figured, a few people tested GP2 last year before signing up for WSR, like Parente. But unlike Alvaro, I'd guess CVDD will bypass F3 straight for FR3.5?

Yes, I think you're right. It would certainly be the course favoured by Renault.

That's not what I had in mind, although I suppose it's possible.

I just think that once a driver is established in a Renault championship, they prefer him to move up to another of their championships rather than become a renegade and switch to F3. It's okay in the UK because there isn't a higher Renault alternative, but not in Europe.
