Rahel Frey

Ok then, what do you guys know of her, i know she scored a few points in the euro series last year which was more than Pippa did, she then set some ok times in testing this week, i know its a really dreadfull old cliche but she is a stunning looking girl and must be a PR dream, she seems to be in with Jenzer, how good is she really then?

As a driver, much better than Pippa, as far as I have seen both racing together. But she should stay in 2.0 renaults.

I don't understand why people make threads about women racers all the time asking 'how good they really are'. Rahel Frey is clearly better than Pippa Mann, yet looking at overall results, its nothing special whatsoever. It's just the same as starting a thread asking 'how good is Matt Russell or Daniel Welch'.

Blimey, sorry runshaw, i only started the thread because i know very little of her, i saw she set some ok times last week in WSR testing, dug a little deeper and found she got a few points in the euroseries, then on finding her website saw she is a very attractive woman, the cynic in me then put two and two together so i thought i would ask here to see if any of you guys could enlighten me further.

Is she related to the glacially slow Jean-Pierre Frey?

Frey can be quick and really scare the boys most times in testing, she needs to work on being able to keep the speed for quailifing but she is a good racer and can make very good strong passes and is not affraid to go wheel to wheel with any boy. She can be ruthless sometimes, put John Edwards good and propper into the wall on the first lap before the first corner in the 2nd race of Eurocup at the Barcellona round of World Series Renault, and finished the race. She should stay with the Renault 2000 for one more season. She can also make a great coffee espresso.

On Rahel's website is said that her father was an active kart driver.

I think Cyndie Alleman (spelling anyone?) will do better than here if she does go to Euroseries next season, she's not a half bad driver at all.

Is that based on her German F3 outings or FRenault Eurocup? She was a podium finisher in German F3, yet was at the back in Renault, she didn't score a point.

Only ever seen her in German F3 - didn't know she did FRen Eurocup. Interesting she didn't do well there though, German F3 she's been good.

Cyndie did Euro & German F.Renault in 2005.As her best result in F3 was the Lausitz oval maybe the Infiniti Pro Series would be a better move?

Anyone know what has happened to Rahel? Was 3rd in ATS F3 before this weekend but failed to show at Assen. Nothing on her website for some time.
