International Marshals Clubnight
The next BMMC South Mids club night is at the White Horse in Silverstone on January 15th. Our guest speaker is Oliver Gavin. Olly won the Mclaren Autosport Young Driver of the year in 1991 and was British F3 Champion in 1995.
After some years as Grand Prix safety car driver Olly went to the USA to drive sportscars with great success. He has won the GT1 class at Le Mans, Petit Le Mans, Sebring etc and has been GT1 champion in ALMS. Come along and listen to tales of racing life on both sides of the Atlantic. The night starts at 8pm but the pub serves excellent food so come and have a meal first. All welcome. |

Oliver Gavin has also been a test driver for 3 different Formula 1 teams namely Pacific, Benetton & Renault he also raced in F3000 & International Touring Cars (a previous incarnation of DTM for those who don`t).
Should be a good evening lets see how many people turn up. |

Anyone going to the Autosport show on Friday may want to keep an eye out for Oliver Gavin in the celebrity kart race, should he do anything worthy of questioning him about we would like to know.
