I believe Kimball was running out of fuel and trying to limp over the finish line.

I was at turn 4, Kimball was going pretty slow but i'm not sure he could have done much else (other than run along the warm-up lane perhaps?), he stuck to his line on the inside as JR went round him.

The night of the race we went to a pub to watch the ABC coverage of the race, hoping it would explain more what happened in those last ten laps! (there was so much changing every lap towards the end, every lap the cars came past there was something different, especially when the Ganassi cars slowed).... the coverage though left us largely none the wiser though..... You knew something was up when they missed Simona's early lap stop, mentioning it laps after it happened and telling us she was a lap down when she wasn't (at that point)

Bob Riebe User has been fined for unsportsmanlike behaviour!
2016 will be the actual anniversary race, i.e. the actuall one hundredth.

With the new car regs., new always brings interest at least for one year, but do you think that by 2016 that the series will screw it up and be back to another Formula Honda type deal or it will go the other way be more open, with true variety?

There is a difference between the "100th Anniversary Celebration" of the first Indy 500 (which is how it was billed) and the 100th Running of the Indy 500, Bob.

The Anniversary date for 100 years since the first race is 2011...That is all they talked about in this "Celebration" year...

You need to read things more closely for their meaning and what they actually say

I NEVER said other wise, it is simply that the Speedway can/will again have an anniversary bash for the actual one hundredth race, and I wonder how things will be THEN.

Wow. Kill the series for it even starts. Don't think so. Not in my world anyway. Looking forward to the new configurations, competitors et al.

My bad

The amount of times I explained to people that the Centennial 500 was actually the 95th race, and then I screw up on here. DOH LOL!
