Danica's New Indycar

Danica announced and presented her new paint scheme for her 2010 Indycar. It's bright green and black. The primary sponsor is GoDaddy.com

No mention of contract specifics but the 3 year deal is still coming out of Indy. They are saying at Andretti Autosport that is a multi-year deal with GoDaddy and Danica!

Im still not crazy about the paint scheme yet. I prefer the Motorola/Boost Mobile cars.

Her new racing suit looks pretty, but the car? No, thank you.
The blue and black livery of last year's car was much better, even than the orange and black one from this year. If they removed the orange from the green and black car, the livery would look a lot better.

I doubt that Go Daddy is promoting their brand to anyone who knows what the word "livery" means. What matters to them is that the car and driver attract the eyeballs of the audience they are trying to sell to. They'd probably be happy to read that old schoolers see the presentation as a bit outrageous.

A red Ferrari is a red Ferrari. A green Alpina is a green Alpina. A yellow Renault is a yellow Renault. A black car is just another black car. I hate them, you can't see their beauty. Oh, that's good for this ugly nosed Dallara (the rest of the car is fine to me).

Does this mean Andretti's lost Motorola? Not good for them if so.

There are still strong rumours she'll at least do a part season for JR Motorsports in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Will have to see.

The car and the suit are horrid. The only redeeming feature is that someone has finally made a more feminine cut of racesuit. I always thought she looked like a little boy Cadet Karter when she got out stomping around crying.....
