I am provided I am not on a reserve list, tried to phone Richard C a couple of times to find out how many entries there are but he doesn't return calls.

Phil and I will be running the Purple Peril again.
I'm thinking of sticking "no smoking" signs to the back after our unfortunate early exit at Brands Hatch...

Well, wouldn't you know. This would be the first time in the year that I would have enough confidence in my car to get it out for a 45 minute race (having done a couple of 30 minute test sessions recently), and I was thinking of doing this, but I'm already committed to driving at Silverstone on the Saturday.. Maybe next year!

You could still get to Snett for sunday!!

Just think, you'd be better prepared than most of us with having raced the day before, that or you'd be knackered, giving us all an advantage!!!

My understanding is that it is a Classic Bike Meeting with us as an added extra...

Falcemob - I got a similar response after entering the Brands round - I've heard nothing so far this time though.

Never marshaled a bike meeting, (apart from when we had a bike race within a car meeting) so not sure if I would be too much use to them

I'm planning on Camping - which in October is obviously the thing to do...
I think Matt is looking to do the same. Be good to have a pre-race Beer and BBQ if it isn't too chilly, otherwise a mass bundle to the local pub for dinner is probably in order.

Poor little Metro... Phil and I both went off the road en-route to second in class B2. Well done to Eric and Tim on winning the class, as well as second place in the "Tin Tops" section. There was no way we were ever going to be worrying them...
Considering the mixture of cars, the driving standards were excellent.
I never thought I'd ever see my car overtake a Ford Mustang, but Phil managed it through Russell in the qualifying!
Great fun all round (especially blitzing little bro's Nova off the line). Many thanks to all competitors and organisers for a great day.

Thanks for that Stuart, it was an excellent race and my best ever at Snetterton. I don't think I have been there without breaking down or crashing.
I did notice the Westfield (I think) overtake me about 3 times and couldn't understand how he was lapping so quickly untill I found out he had fallen off a couple of times. Apart from that I don't think there were many mishaps and nice to be in a race without any red flags.
Hope to see you all next year
