Steve Wills, brother of Continental's Phil Wills is the geezer behind the new chassis.

Athgoe Racing should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I was talking to steve and phil a few weeks ago, they are going to have the car on show at brands, from taking to them they sound more intrested in 1600 than 1800. It will be good to see another chasis out there. VD has to much of a hold on both 1600 and 1800, it's about time they got a kick in the arse.

well its got nothing to do with the 'kite chassis' that project is dead in the water, so to speak, certainly as a kite!!! i believe that kimber-smith has split with the designer George Ritton

Wez and I saw the car yesterday and its the mut,s nuts very nice So nice I want one for Kent and it will take long and Fat so we can all get in it!!! I think they will do well as they want it to be a car that you can win in and afford to run and repair ie parts at cost,s we can all afford I wish them all well with it as its good to have people with the ball,s to biuld a new Racing car.

It certainly sounds good from what was in Autosport.

Best of luck to them.

Looks a nice design, they have already got some top drivers lined up, and apparently it could race before the end of the year!

They picked the bodywork up last week, so the car is really coming along.
