Supersmile should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Vectors

Hi All,

I race a Vector MG95 F2000 here in the States. I've run it for one season, taking two regional championships and getting wings figured out after racing Formula Vee and SCCA Spec Racer Ford for the previous 10 years. I understand the company is no longer in business but would like to know if anyone can point me in the right direction for spares, especially suspension pieces. Engines, Hewlands bits, Ohlins, are no problem here but the Vector specific bits would be nice to find. I also know of someone else here looking for a bellhousing.

My wife is from Coventry so I'm in England (or relatives are here) quite often and I wouldn't object to bringing home a wishbone or two in my suitcase as a memory of our next trip over in February!

Thanks in advance to everyone!

Rob

Somebody in the Netherlands recently aquired the rights to Vector cars and was talking about building new ones...for the life of me I cannot remember who it is. If I do I will PM you

Thanks, Jim.

I had found http://www.v-racing.org/ but never got a reply from the email link there. The website is down now.

Was that who you were thinking of?

Thank you for the link. His spares package is what I need!

I've dropped him a line, maybe it will pan out.

I've got some Vector drive shafts lurking in the workshop, I'll measure them later and let you know the lengths.

The length is 618mm and I have six in total. Let me know if these are the same length as your current car.

Thanks, Barry. My car is at a local prep shop having some repairs/upgrades but I'll measure the driveshafts once I have it back. It may be a few weeks yet.
