It is good to see Scott Speed finally confirmed though. I had had my doubts. That will prove to be an interesting matchup.

QuickSilver should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Look forward to the SS-NR duel. I don't know if the STR will be anywhere near the Williams, but it should be interesting.

Actually, there is not much surprise in the announcement. The only thing that was questionable in my opinion was id janni could take Speed's place. Glad that Speed will be their driver.

Somewhere better think of some new speculation to fill the space of threads on the run-up to this announcement.

Good it is confirmed, gets it out of the way.

Speed was always 80% favourite to get the drive, the results iin A1 which have supposedly tempted them weren't as significant as people have made out. I'm sure Speed will struggle initially but improve as the year goes on, while Jani might struggle move into a race seat.

What engine are they running?

Nevermind, I found it in another thread. V10's = too bad for STR and Speed and that other guy.

YES!! finally it's official -- I hope Scott has a great year -- which for that team I suppose means just being able to get into the points at times and hoping for the miracle of a podium before seasons end. Anyway -- Following racing is a ton more fun when you have someone to root for -- and now US fans have "someone in the family" that's been deemed good enough to join the best from around the world.

This means Klien will be driving for RBR again, which is fantastic news.
