OR.....

Maybe someone at Motorbase is just reading this and trolling us ... missing their driver off announcements, covering up said drivers sponsors on publicity shots, putting all the PR attention on the other drivers in the team...

There is only one thing worse than being talked about after all

I don't think sponsors would be too happy to have there sponsorship removed just for a bit of trolling or diversion.

Agreed. The centre of the bonnet doesn't look right, as there are no reflections. Suspect they have covered over the prominent Duo logos as this is mostly a PR shot for Gard-X

Weird. Why would I sponsor a driver/car/team, only for my logos to be PhotoShopped out for the press release? Even if Gard-X is the bigger backer, still doesn't figure — why not get rid of all other sponsor/partner logos too, by that logic.

Stickers are easily stuck on. And peeled off. Those cars may not be anywhere near the final liveries.

If Mat Jackson isn't in the Shredded Wheat Ford then I will have to buy and eat yet another hat...

It was put about and widely appeared on forums; some journos repeated it to.

The real reason (which may be a #fakereason) is that AJ was unimpressed with the car. As per Gio before him.

It was alluded to that the reason for Jordan’s departure was due to the Shredded Wheat deal. If that’s not the case I apologise and invite you to fill us all in.

oh come on, in the last few days alone you claim to be knowing the real reason Jordan left but cant or wont provide any source, appear to know confidential detail of Jackons sponsorship/wage structure at Motorbase, have gone out of your way to correct the team name when deliberately mis-worded for comic effect, were first to say "thats the Honda seat filled", along with "From what I have heard. Another team now has a seat to fill again." in a "i have a secret but i cant tell you" way, yet have remained silent on the prospect of Mat leaving.

Considering you have all these details but haven't provided much proof but sounds like the conversations Mr Bartrum has with his neighbor over the fence

AJ and MJ were both within a mathematical chance of winning the championship at the final meeting. Motorbase were also within a mathematical chance of winning the championship at the final meeting, why would he be unimpressed. Perhaps they couldn't come to an agreement over finance for the next season? AJ may well have been speaking to other teams.

I think you have spent too much time adding 2+2 and coming up with 5.

Obviously, they are paying for the drive and their name is going to be plastered all over it.

I’ve heard stories that Motorbase weren’t impressed with Messers Jordan Snr & Jnr, but that’s just gossip....................

He tweeted the other day along the lines of ‘maybe just maybe this time, fingers crossed’ or something to that effect! He would be an awesome addition to an already mega grid! 😊

Fingers crossed, the Cam would be a very welcome addition to the grid.
