Sparky should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Anyone else seen the Lunn Poly TV advert?

The one with the fake (F3000?) Ferrari?

The one with three wheels? It had me chuckling for a while!

Er... I don't have a picture, but I'll try and describe it.

Red Formula 1 car (Looks like a Ferrari, but sponsored but CNN.com and 'Scoot' and probably an F3000 chassis) screams into pits in the pouring rain.
We hear the race engineer on the radio: "OK, we're gonna go with a wet set-up!... Get ready... OK, here we go!"
Car comes to a halt, jacks are under and up it goes. Wheels are off and refueller steps up and connects. All the time, the race engineer is shouting 'encouragement' into the radio.
Wheels are back on, refueller disconnects and steps back, and the car is dropped off the jacks.

The lollipop rises, and "Go! Go! GO!!" Shouts the engineer.
The revs rise and it's away... on three wheels! (Shades of 'Steady Eddie'!... Ferrari? )
There are sparks everywhere, and the car grinds to a halt.
"What the...??" says the race engineer, and turns to see 'Left rear tyre man' sat on the tyre in the rain, looking whistfully into space.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING???" Screams the engineer, with his hands on his hips.
"Oh Sorry!" says the tyre guy, "I'm on holiday!"

As the crew wander over to congratulate him, 'Voiceover man' describes Lunn Poly's great 'Get Away' holidays.

Race engineer walks up to tyre guy, smiles and says "You lucky devil, Eh?!!"

You really have to see this to appreciate it, but it's guaranteed to make me laugh every time!

Don K has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Sorry, haven't seen it.

There used to be a commercial featuring a 3-wheeled McLaren F1 in the '80s.
You might be able to watch it at
