The views are largely unobstructed and your are right on top of the action.

Factor in the loose surface; very close racing; some unusual machinery; "head banger" drivers; Stonking accidents and extremely welcoming crowds............... THE PHOTO OPPS ARE EXCELLENT (the burgers are usually good too!).

Circuit racing images are rather dull by comparison.

For those who have not done a lot of action photography, go to an event like this and pratcice, practice, practice. Nothing can replace taking pictures. Believe me it will make those F1 pics and sports car pics turn out better int he long run.
