GP2 2007 Who will be Champion?
Time for a fresh start, what does everyone think?
Testing is controlled to ensure it is fair, however some teams are stronger at some tracks but not all. The Zuber/Glock partnership looks strong, but then this looks the strongest lineup yet. Any ideas? |

I think Glock is a good bet actually, based on the strength of his performances last year.

Timo would appear to be the most likely to but I don't think it will be that simple.
I think Ammermuller will be up there, along with Di Grassi whilst Pizzonia, Lapierre, Pantano and Viso (if he sneaks the BCN seat) ought to be I also think we'll see the likes of Maldonado, Senna and Conway put in some strong performances during the season. I'm particularly interested in how Pastor will go and whether he can remove the wildness which has blotted his copybook to date and harness his speed consistently over a season. One guy I didn't pick for my season top 8 is Zuber. Despite his performances in the last test and a few glimpses last season I wonder whether he can also be a driver who will regularly be up front? Nakajima could be a dark horse along with Filipi, now he is in an arguably stronger team. |

Whilst this appears to be replicating previous posts, I'd have said that Glock will win the championship and then use that as a springboard back to F1.

I think that Pizzonia could well be favourite for the Championship, he has been strong in testing and IMO has the pace to lead from the front. Glock and Conway should give him a tough time though and if he slips up then it could well be Glock or Conway that takes the title. IMO.

I think Javi Villa might surprise this year as well as the obvious candidates.
