Are those 458s GT2 or GT3?

Nice to see the MC12 back in racing again. Joe Macari and Adrian Newey? Just a guess..

Is the MC12 gonna be loaded with ballast and smaller restrictors to peg it down to GT2/GT3 level, or are they actually giving it a chance?

The press release says 580hp/90lt, the weight should be 1350kg (I suppose from internet source)

No all-pro lineups at AF Corse? Or are those Italian drivers Italian GT frontunners?

Since the Mc12 is in VLN spec (of sorts) I'm hopping it shows up at the ring next year.

The MC12 is still a GT1 car at the end of the day, and the Nordschleife is not homologated as a track for the GT1 cars.

AFAIK, all major GT classes (including GT1, GT2, GTE and GT3) require the same grade track license.

Thankyou. The Vallelunga race always throws up a nice diverse entrylist.

So it is Adrian Newey racing with Joe Macari in the MC12.

And Thomas Biagi in one of the AF Corse 458s.

Pole for Bruni in the 458 GtE AF Corse. Kessel second, Vittoria's Maserati third.

Thanks for the updates mirkob!

From what I could see on the local meteo it seems the start could be on a wet track.

Thanks for keeping us updated Mirco
Whenever you get aware of a Live-timing (please ask local organisators if there is one) or any streamed information please give us a hint
there is a relative strong outing of german/austrian/swiss-pilots this year so there is some decent interest from our side too

Wow that M3 fire looked scary!

It's really painfull to try and follow a race without live timing. It's not something that costs billions $ to sort out! Nowadays it's really a minimum requirement, so I'm angry at the organiser who seem to try to keep this race as confidential as possible despite the high-level entries.

Worse, it seems the Vallelunga track does have it's own live timing, but for some reason it's not covering the 6h. Shame.

At least thanks to mirkob we can have a few updates and some beautiful pics (so thanks again mate ), but overall this is quite a depressing situation...

Sadly, the JWA-Avila Porsche didn't finish the race.
